Description

Jewelweed is nature’s poison ivy remedy. It is found in moist wooded areas, close by to poison ivy plants. Jewelweed works by counter-reacting with the chemicals in other plants that cause irritation. Poultices and salves from Jewelweed are a long-standing folk remedy for bruises, burns, cuts, eczema, insect bites, sores, sprains, warts, and ringworm.

Cleared Up Poison Ivy Rash

This soap alleviated itching and cleared up a poison ivy rash on my wrists much faster than store-bought remedies. It lathers well, smells great, and didn't over-dry my skin. I do wish it would also come in sample sizes, though, as just my wrists didn't need a full bar before my skin cleared up. But I was glad to slice it so I could save some and give some away. I would love it if you made a jewelweed salve or lotion to accompany this product (however, your calendula cream worked well, too, after the blisters began to dry).

This soap has a great lather. I was afraid it would not have a pleasing scent but, it's rather non fragrant. My gnat bite welts were soothed.

My husband gets very bad poison ivy that usually needs a dr. visit. Someone recommended this soap to me and my husband tried it and it worked great. The delivery was very fast and I am very pleased.
