Shampoo Bars

Posted on

Here at Morning Song Gardens, we are proud to provide a variety of natural products, including shampoo! Some questions we receive quite often are; "What is different about the Shampoo Bar?", or "How do you use it?".

So, what makes our Shampoo Bar so special? For starters, the Shampoo bar triples as a Shampoo, shaving soap, and silky body wash! Whichever way you choose to use it, there are many benefits contained in the bar. We have specially formulated the Shampoo Bar with Organic Clay and Soap Nuts to create a large, foamy lather which gently cleanses the scalp, hair, and skin, without over drying. Honey, Mango Butter, and Cocoa butter smooth the hair with moisture to calm frizz. The Shampoo Bar is wonderfully economic and good for the environment, lasting as long as a bottle of shampoo, and avoiding the use of plastic. We also left out the beeswax, making it safe for colored hair and will help avoid any 'build up'. You'll find your hair feeling smooth, voluminous, and moisturized after just one wash. If you choose to lather it up as a shave soap, the foamy bubbles create a protective barrier against shaving bumps and cuts. Plus, it soothes and moisturizes the skin while you shave! Like our Olive Oil Soaps, the Shampoo Bar gently cleanses the skin with moisturizing coconut oil, and soothes with essential oils. Of course, it is also offered in Fragrance Free, for our sensitive skin customers.

Have you ever used a Shampoo BAR before? It’s actually very fun and easy! Simply wet your hair in the shower, glide the bar over the top of your head focusing on the roots. Remember, a little goes a long way! Massage into a lather, and work through to the ends of your hair, if desired. Follow with a natural conditioner of your choosing, and enjoy your manageable, soft, and silky hair! Keep your new favorite shampoo stored on our hand-crafted soap wrack to extend the life of the bar. Enjoy!

Cosmeceutical: Natural Fact or Science Fiction

Untitled 1   Recently my team and I have stumbled upon somewhat of a grey area in terms of how other natural skin care products were being defined and marketed. The 3 A's of Bees- Why Bee Based Products are Superior for Skin

Countless are the conversations in which the Morning Song Gardens family has been asked why bee products (wax, honey) revolve around everything we produce.
